In October, we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month as a way to honor clergy for their faithful leadership, care, and service. As a small token, the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas is offering $75 grants to assist congregations in the Arkansas UMC in recognizing their pastor during Pastor Appreciation Month. Churches that have multiple clergy appointed to serve may apply to receive this amount per pastor.
This grant is open to a Church Council or Staff-Parish Relations Committee member to request funds for a church to use for a gift, event, or other expression of gratitude to honor their pastor.
