The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas' annual Bishops’ Club Luncheon celebrated its 40th year on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock. More than 150 attendees gathered to hear keynote speaker Sonya Schmidt Murphy, executive director of Camp Aldersgate, and to celebrate how club members' dues are used for Arkansas, for good.

Members of the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas Bishops’ Club gathered Thursday evening, October 30, 2025, at Mount Sequoyah Center in Fayetteville, to share fellowship and hear from keynote speaker Jeff Quick, CEO of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas.

Members of the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas Bishops’ Club gathered Friday, May 16, 2025, at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock. They were pleased to hear from keynote speaker The Honorable Mark Leverett, who serves as State District Judge for District 31, Little Rock 3, but who received the invitation to address the Bishops’ Club primarily because of another leadership role he holds: Chair of the Oscar Washington Jr. Educational Fund.

Among friends of The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas, there was much to celebrate at the 38th Annual Bishops’ Club Luncheon. This year’s event, held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Little Rock’s Camp Aldersgate, included a record attendance crowd and featured speaker Dr. Ashley Boggan, the General Secretary of the General Commission on Archives and History.

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas and over 200 of our closest friends celebrated 60 years of supporting Methodist ministries in Arkansas. Thank you to all who joined us!
