Tax Education for Clergy (Rogers)

The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas presents a free opportunity for United Methodist clergy to receive updates on tax issues specific to their profession, including how provisions of the new “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” affect them. The session will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m., with lunch provided for attendees.

Event Speakers:

Rocky Goodman, CPA
Goodman graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Master of Business Administration. After graduation, he worked in the private industry before joining Landmark CPAs. Rocky currently serves on the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College Foundation Board and is the Secretary of the Heights Neighborhood Association. He is the immediate past chair of the Arkansas Society of CPAs and serves on the peer review committees for both Arkansas and Alabama Society of CPAs.

Melissa Cary, CPA
Cary began her career at Landmark in 2008. Her service area specialties include individual, business, and trust taxation. She has also devoted a significant amount of time to providing clients with accounting and bookkeeping assistance. A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, she is a member of the AICPA, CGMA and the ARCPA, where she serves on the Federal Tax Institute Committee and is treasurer of the Central chapter. She is involved in the community through Rotary Club 99 and the Red Shoe Crew Leadership Board, a supporting foundation for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas.
