The second is determining which is right for them. These two types of estate planning documents accomplish similar things, but learning the difference between the two can be a critical part of planning your legacy and protecting your assets.
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (February 5, 2025) — The Perkins Summit for Faith and Learning offers a wide range of theological mini-courses for laypersons, community leaders and clergy. Somewhere between seminary and Sunday School, the Summit leverages the rich learning community of SMU’s Perkins School of Theology to provide an experience in theological education.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 4, 2025) — Any student attending a United Methodist seminary and seeking ordination as an Elder or Deacon within the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church is eligible to apply for the MFA Seminary Scholarship, which provides $22,000 per year for a three-year period. The application window for Fall 2025 is now open.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (January 6, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas will offer young United Methodists from across the state an opportunity for scholarships to attend programs provided by Camp Tanako and Ozark Mission Project on a first-come, first-serve basis for the 2025 calendar year.
