Through the generosity of many United Methodists, our Seminary Scholarship Fund provides grants for nine full scholarships each year to Arkansas students attending three-year United Methodist seminaries.
As scholarship recipients, the students pledge to return to Arkansas to pastor local churches. Today, 30 MFA Scholars are serving local churches in our state.
The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas is proud to make $48,000 in scholarship contributions to 48 students receiving 2020 Dollars for Scholars awards to begin or continue their education at United Methodist colleges, universities, and seminaries.Read more
Students demonstrating exceptional promise attending one of the 13 accredited United Methodist seminaries may be selected by The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas (MFA) to receive annual scholarships. Scholarship recipients are required to sign a covenant agreement committing to serve as a deacon or elder under appointment in Arkansas two years for each year of scholarship support received.Read more
